September Meeting

September meeting at the NJ Sharing Network

Thanks to all for a great panel discussion on “The Convergence of Corporate Travel and Meetings" and the NJ Sharing Network

Panel Discussion Moderated by, Beth West Editor in Chief, Business Travel News
Dan Tarpey, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Meetings & Incentives Worldwide
Michelle Shannon, Sr. Manager Meetings Management, Novo Nordisk
Melissa Nahama SMMC, HMCC, Director of Business Development, BCDMeetings & Events

Attendees walked away with some easy  collective wins but also some longer-term strategies in how Travel and Meetings teams can work together.

The panel had a lively discussion around the change in direction over SMMP ROI and how “Savings” is not the top priority anymore.  The focus is more on how logistic efficiencies can help them reinvest in their meetings for better attendee engagement and experience.

Special thanks to our Moderator Elizabeth West, Editor in Chief, Business Travel News.  Be sure to check out the BTN’s Strategic Meetings Summit at New York Hilton * October 25, 2016.  Learn more by clicking on this link: www.businesstravelnews.com/events
